Wes McNulty shot a two-under-par 70 to win the Arkansas State Golf Association-designated tournament at Harbor Oaks on Sunday.

The White Hall resident held off playing partner Trey Schaap, who also finished Sunday’s round with a 70, to win the tournament’s Championship Division by two strokes.

On Saturday, McNulty shot a three-under-par 69 to take a two-stroke lead over Schaap into Sunday’s final round. McNulty’s victory comes just one week after he and Schaap, of North Little Rock, joined forces to win their fifth straight Four-Ball title at Pine Bluff Country Club.

Thirty-six holes weren’t enough to decide the Mid-Senior Division.

David Shirey of Camden and Tracy Harris of Little Rock went to a playoff after both shot 71s to finish at an even-par 144 for the tournament. Shirey topped Harris on the first hole of the playoff to win the division.

The duo had entered the day tied with Frank Martin for the division’s lead after having shot 73s the day before. Martin shot a nine-over-par 81 on Sunday to finish in seventh place.

Louis Lee ran away with the Senior Division title. The Heber Springs resident shot a three-under 69 on Saturday to take a six-stroke lead over Warren resident Robert Green. Lee followed that up with a one-under-par 71 on Sunday to win the division by 15 strokes. Green, meanwhile, struggled on Sunday shooting a 12-over-par 84 to finish in a tie for third place.

In the Super Senior Division, Oscar Taylor and Glen Talbert entered play Sunday tied for the lead ater shooting 75s on Saturday. Both players went low on Sunday, but Taylor went just a bit lower. Taylor’s final round 71 was good enough to edge Talbert and his 73.
