White Hall will play for the 15-and-under Junior Babe Ruth district championship, and it will take two losses to keep White Hall from the crown.

A day after beating Pine Bluff Seabrook 10-0, White Hall beat Southwest Arkansas 13-0 to advance to the championship game of the district tournament at 4 p.m. today at Townsend Park, where the tournament has taken place.

Jacob Green and Justin Archer each went 3 for 3 for White Hall. Alex Driver went 1 for 2 for Southwest Arkansas.

White Hall will play Pine Bluff Northern, who defeated Southwest Arkansas 16-13 in the final game on Saturday.

Earlier on Saturday, Northern beat Seabrook 12-6 to eliminate Seabrook from the tournament. Rashawn Blake went 4 for 5 and Braylon Jones went 3 for 4 to lead Northern to the win. Dalton Barker went 3 for 4 for Seabrook.

On Friday, Southwest Arkansas beat Northern 19-9. Blake and Shamar Gant were each 3 for 4 at the plate for Northern.

In White Hallís 10-0 win over Seabrook on Friday, Kirk Baugh went 2 for 4. Adriane Alford went 2 for 3 and Hunter Freeman was 3 for 3 for Seabrook.

In the 16-and-under Babe Ruth district tournament in Lonoke, the Pine Bluff Angels advanced to todayís 7:30 p.m. championship game with a 10-8 win over Lonoke.
