BATON ROUGE, La. — The Arkansas-Pine Bluff women’s basketball team fell to 0-4 with an 80-28 loss to LSU Monday night.

The Lady Lions struggled in each aspect of the game. UAPB committed 33 turnovers, made just 10 of 47 field goal attempts and was out-rebounded 45-24.

UAPB entered halftime trailing 47-8 and never led in the game.

Lakendra Marsh led the Lady Lions with 13 points and made 3 of 7 attempts from 3-point territory. She was the only player for UAPB in double-figure scoring. Chigozianyi Okwumabua totaled six steals for the Lady Lions.

Each LSU player in the game made at least one field goal and had at least two rebounds. The Tigers also made 32 of 68 field goal attempts and overcame a 1-for-9 3-point clip.

LaSondra Barrett led the Tigers with 14 points, as Adrienne Webb added 12.

Next for the Lady Lions, as they continue their nine-game road trip to begin the season, will be a 7 p.m. Nov. 29 game at Ole Miss.
