REDFIELD — The Redfield Community Services Association will sponsor a free youth fishing derby Saturday, April 28, at the north lake of F.P. Baugh Park.

REDFIELD — The Redfield Community Services Association will sponsor a free youth fishing derby Saturday, April 28, at the north lake of F.P. Baugh Park.

Registration will be held from 8-9 a.m., an association spokesman said, with the fishing derby starting at 9 a.m. and ending at noon. Weigh-in will begin at noon. The lake will be stocked by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission personnel.

The age groups are 1-5, 6-10 and 11-15. Prizes will be awarded in all age groups. All children must be accompanied by an adult, the spokesman said, and bring their own fishing equipment and tackle, the spokesman said.

Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be sold at a concession stand.
