An SUV and a car collided west of the intersection of Sheridan and Robin roads, Patrolman Mike Monk said.

The officer’s report indicated an eastbound 2003 Nissan XSC driven by Bradford Lee Berry Jr. of 9796 Princeton Pike collided with a 2004 BMW driven by Amber Nicole Miller of 106 Myra Ave., Pine Bluff, as Miller was attempting to turn west on Sheridan from a private parking lot.

Shannon Lajuan Perry, 37, of Sherwood, was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Interstate 530 by Sgt. Sandy Castleberry.

Castleberry’s report indicated he saw Perry’s vehicle on Sheridan Road did not have a license plate and caught up with the vehicle on I-530 one mile north of the state highway. A plastic bag containing a small amount of marijuana was visible on the right front seat, the officer added.

Nov. 25

Sgt. Mark Bradley arrested two individuals for allegedly passing three forged checks at Sandy Acres Grocery and Market, 9225 U.S. 270 West. The checks had been reported stolen by Leslie Elizondo of Pine Bluff.

Devon B. Hankins, 34, of 1901 Sunset Cove, Pine Bluff, and Brad Jason Yarbrough, also 34, of 10003 Princeton Pike, were bound over to Jefferson County Circuit Court on second-degree forgery charges.

Nov. 27

— A pickup truck and a car collided east of the intersection of Hoadley Road and Bulldog Drive, Patrolman Mike Monk said, with both vehicles sustaining minor damage.

The accident report stated that an eastbound Ford pickup driven by Austin Len Berry of 701 Sheridan Road, Redfield, struck the rear of a 1995 Honda Accord driven by Phillip Knox Brown of 807 Van St., White Hall.

— Thressia Gale Woodfield of 307 Little Lane, White Hall, told Patrolman Celena Harbison that three fraudulent charges totaling $252 had been made on her credit union debit card without her permission.

Nov. 28

Two cars collided at the Interstate 530 and Sheridan Road interchange, Patrolman Mike Monk wrote in an accident report.

Denise Nicole Davis of 1200 Bloomfield Drive, Pine Bluff, was quoted as saying her 2010 Hyundai Sonata was stopped on the northbound off ramp when it was struck from behind by a 2006 Chevrolet driven by Leah Lachelle Irvin of Mabelvale.

Dec. 1

— Burglars used a brick to shatter a front window at Sandy Acres Grocery and Market, 9225 U.S. 270 West, and took 15-20 cartons of cigarettes in the break-in, authorities said.

— A truck backed into a parked car on the parking lot of an apartment complex at 302 Michelle Ave., Patrolman Robert Rogers said.

Marlon D. Henry of 3710 W. Short 13th Ave., Pine Bluff, was identified as the driver of the 2004 Ford truck and the owner of the parked 2009 Honda Civic as Sierra Hall, a resident of the apartment complex.
