Stitt allowed only two hits, helping the Bears improve to 17-1 on the season. Trey Chapman struck out two and walked one in the other inning.


Caleb Holloman drove in three runs, batting 2 for 3. Jacob Richardson was 3 for 4 with two RBIs and J.P. Aiken also had two RBIs.


Woodlawn will host Parkers Chapel in a key 8-2A Conference game at 4:30 p.m. today.

Dumas 9, Star City 3


STAR CITY — Dumas scored runs in all but two innings Thursday afternoon on its way to an 8-4A win over Star City.


Seven different Dumas players scored in the win. Mona Mitchell led the Lady Bobcats, going 2 for 3 with a walk. She also scored twice and drove in a pair of runs.


Amy Goodgame earned the complete-game win in the circle. She allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits with one walk and two strikeouts.


Jaela Martin suffered the complete-game loss for Star City. She gave up nine runs (eight earned) on nine hits and three walks with three strikeouts.
