Junior middle blocker Ashlie Jones and sophomore right side Ayanna Parker provided a pair of key kills during the rally to extend lead to 23-20. Soon there after Jordan Foyer, who was last week’s Southwestern Athletic Conference’s Setter of the Week, scored the game point to end the first set.

Within the second set the Lady Lions found themselves down at one point 9-4. After UAPB head coach Kyetta May called a timeout to make some adjustments, UAPB pulled off an impressive run to go on top of Prairie View 16-12.
