All five buildings on the campus had a representative king and queen to participate. The residents strolled down the walkway as members of the Pine Bluff Fire Department station No. 7 escorted the kings and queens showing off their attire and waving and smiling at the judges.

Vickie Redd, a resident of Davis West, opened the pageant with a welcome and the Rev. Larry Ward of Union Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church did the invocation. Larene Greer performed a musical selection while Xavier Clark performed a praise dance.

The master of ceremony was former Arkansas State Rep. Effren Elliot. The panel of judges included Ivan Whitfield, assistant chief of police; Joann Kongenske, member of the board of directors with the Davis Life Care Center; Linda Callaway, former school teacher for the Pine Bluff School District.
