In observance of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Tonya DeNise, a local author, will host a book signing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 in the Cafe Court at The Pines mall.

In observance of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Tonya DeNise, a local author, will host a book signing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31 in the Cafe Court at The Pines mall.


Guests speakers will include representatives from the Pine Bluff Police Department and Pine Bluff Fire and Emergency Services.


Tonya DeNise, a survivor of domestic abuse, is the author of two books, "The House that C.A.S.A. Built, The Unheard Truths" and "Stuck in the Middle … But Never Alone." She hopes that "these informative books will help to diminish the horrible cycle and curse of this terrible epidemic of domestic violence."
