Celebrate Father's Day at Evangel Temple

Evangel Temple, corner of Townson and Dodson avenues in Fort Smith, will celebrate Father's Day this Sunday. Pastor Don will deliver a message titled “Fearless Fathers!” at 10:30 a.m. All dads who are present may register to win a new barbecue grill, and the church will honor the Father of the Year.

Calvary Baptist to feature 'Renewal Ranch' Sunday

There will be a special service at Calvary Baptist Church, 2301 Midland Blvd. in Fort Smith, beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday. The service will feature special testimonies and music from "Renewal Ranch." The service will be informational as well as inspirational. Fathers will also be recognized.

Rena Road Baptist to host Sermon in Song

Rena Road Baptist Church, 512 Rena Road in Van Buren, will host a free "Sermon in Song" service at 11 a.m. June 23, a full hour of live Blue Grass Gospel Singing (no other preaching is necessary) featuring the local talent of group Common Thread. 

There will be a free potluck luncheon to follow. Participants may bring a dish to share, but food is provided by the church's members.
