Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church, 3703 Ryburn Road, will host the grand opening of the annual Pumpkin Patch from 2–5 Sunday, Oct. 15.

The Good Faith Carr Pumpkin Patch will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 2–5 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is free and the patch has hayrides, games and crafts. Food will also be available. For $5 each, a student receives a small pumpkin, gift bag, popcorn and drink.

“Once again the members of Good Faith Carr UMC are looking forward to the annual Pumpkin Patch,” according to a news release. “Hundreds of pumpkins were shipped from New Mexico and were delivered on Saturday to the church. Members of the church along with volunteers from the community unloaded and arranged the pumpkins for sale.”

Last year, hundreds of students from area schools visited the Pumpkin Patch and the church is ready to see many this year, according to the release.

“Everyone has a great time, especially the church members. They have spent endless hours preparing crafts, games, and food for the event. All of the proceeds go church mission projects,” according to the release.
