REFORM Inc. will present the Youth, Teen, and Young Adult Empowerment Summit from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Robert L. Handley Family Life Center, 812 E. Harding Ave.


The session is for youth 10-18 years old. Registration is open through Sunday, Oct. 15, or when all spots are filled for all attendees.


REFORM (Resiliency. Empowerment. Faith. Overcomer) is a 501c3 non-profit corporation. It’s working to empower youth from 14-24 years old in becoming leaders and to prepare them with the knowledge needed through education, life skills, and vocational training.


The summit will offer motivational and educational speakers, health education and screenings, activities, door prizes and vendors.


After the event, organizers plan to take all registered attendees to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions scheduled home game.


“We would like to provide breakfast, lunch and items to commemorate the events of the day, along with a ticket to the game and transportation, FREE of cost to the attendee,” a spokeswoman said.


The agency is accepting sponsorships and donations which may be tax deductible. Contributions to REFORM Inc. may be sent to P.O. Box 2077 Pine Bluff, AR 71613.
