Flu and pneumonia vaccinations for adults will be given from 9-11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at the South Central Center on Aging, 4747 Dusty Lake Drive, Suite 101. Interested participants should bring their insurance card for billing.


A TDap (tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough) booster vaccine will also be offered.


The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Schmieding Caregiver Training Program and Walgreens are working together to provide the vaccinations at the center.


Educational information on the importance of vaccinations will be distributed to patients.
