William “Bill” Alison Hutcheson, 62 of Pine Bluff, passed 1955 at Pine Bluff, he was a son of the late Al Hutcheson and Sara “Bunty” Holiman Hutcheson.
Mr. Hutcheson was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School and of the Mona Lisa College of Hair Design. He also attended the Missionary Baptist Seminary at Little Rock, and received his certification in Respiratory Therapy at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
He was employed at various hospitals across southeast Arkansas,
most memorably at Jefferson Regional for 35 years.
Billy was a man of many talents and interests. He was fascinated with antiques and interior design. He was a cat lover, history buff, and enjoyed reading and watching classic movies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by
a brother, Donald Hutcheson. He is survived by his partner of 20 years, William “Bill” Wilcox; brother, Robert Hutcheson and sister-in-law, Donna; two nephews; three grand-nephews; one grand-niece; and many other loving family and friends.
The Family will have Memorial Services will be Saturday, October 14, 10:00 a.m. at Lakeside Methodist Church with Reverend Steve Wingo officiating. Voy Weatherford, Jr.
Voy Edward Weatherford, Jr., 59 of Griffith Springs, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017. He was born December 31, 1957 in Pine Bluff to Marzee Owen Weatherford and the late Voy Edward Weatherford, Sr.
He attended the Griffith Springs Church of Christ for most of his life and lately attended First Baptist Church of Star City. He was a member of the Owen Hunting Club, loved to travel out west hunting, enjoyed his grandchildren and loved the lake. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jane Goolsby Weatherford; mother, Marzee Owen Weatherford; son, Michael Weatherford, all of Griffith Springs; 2 daughters, Michelle (Jarrett) Ross of Star City and Amanda (Michael) Bolen of Glendale; 2 brothers, Kim (Lawana) Weatherford and Dana (Ann) Weatherford, all of Griffith Springs; and 5 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:30 P.M., Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Griffin Funeral Chapel. Graveside services are 4:00 P.M., Sunday, October 8, 2017 at New Owen Cemetery with Bro. Marcus Rogers officiating.

Mrs. Brenda Kay Marshall, 60, of Pine Bluff, AR passed Thursday, October 5, 2017. She was born in Hamburg, AR to Ed Murphy of Hamburg, AR and the late Ruth Knight Murphy.

Judy Ann Ponder, 65 of Pine Bluff, passed away, Thursday, October 5, 2017. Born December 14, 1951 at Shreveport, Louisiana she was the daughter of the late Paul Oleksa and Vera Lee Oleksa.
Mrs. Ponder was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Her pastimes included working in her flower beds, shopping and cooking fabulous meals for friends and family which were second to none.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 30 years, Greg Ponder, on October 20, 2003.
Mrs. Ponder is survived by her children, Lisa Gober (Roy), Karen Ponder, Elizabeth Ponder and Ross Ponder; brother, Danny Oleksa (Gayla); granddaughter, Adeline Gober; and many other loving family and friends.

Mrs. Willie Mae Long, 92 of Pine Bluff, AR passed Monday, October 2, 2017. She was born in Dumas, AR to the late Charles and Everlena (McDonald) Johnson.
Survivors include: Sons, Jonnie Skelton of Pine Bluff and James Skelton of Los Angeles, CA; Daughters, Dories Turner and Everlena Dickson both of Pine Bluff, AR and Eddie Mae Wells of Los Angeles, CA; 14 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren.

Carolyn Sue Jemerson, 78, of Pine Bluff, passed away Thursday October 5, 2017.
She was born in Yorktown on January 7, 1939 to the late James Edward “Buddy” Rackley and Ruby Eubanks.
Carolyn was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff. She attended college at Kishwaukee College in Malta, Illinois where she received her degree in nursing.
She took great pride in nursing, she was very passionate about caring for others. She worked for Jefferson Regional Medical Center, and many local nursing homes before retiring at the Department of Corrections. Carolyn also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and doting on her family, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her step father, Gus Thiele; son, James Bray and sister, Linda Byrnes. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jerry Jemerson; son, Buzz Bray (Jeannie); daughter, Tonya Payton; grandchildren, Matthew Deam, Christin Deam, Jamie Deam, Brandy Bray, Rory Bray, Natalie Bray; 10 great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Debra Davis Dardenne, 66, of Pine Bluff passed away peacefully in her home with her loving husband and surrounded by her children and loved ones on Thursday, October 5, 2017.
Mrs. Dardenne was born in Pine Bluff on October 15, 1950, a daughter of the late Chalmers Henry and June Hale Davis.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 45 years, Jimmy Dale Dardenne, her 2 sons, Joseph Chad (Beth) of Kimberling City, MO and Jason Matthew (Cassie) of Ashville, NC, along with 6 cherished grandchildren: Corbin Matthew, James Chadwick, Ryan Donovan Hale, Taylor Evan, Asher Nelson and Greyson Oliver.
Debra is also survived by a brother, Chalmers H. Davis Jr. of White Hall, AR and sisters Donna Beth Timmons of Nashville, TN and Mandy Lee Davis of Sierra Vista, AZ.
She was a 1968 graduate of Altheimer, AR. She then received her double undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Henderson State University and her Master Degree in Education from Ouachita Baptist. She was a member of the National Education Association and the Arkansas Education Association and was of Methodist faith. She taught Special Education and 1st grade at Dollarway Public Schools and retired after 29 years from teaching in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 9, 2017, at Flat Bayou Cemetery with Reverend Roger Armstrong officiating by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
The pallbearers will be Adam Dardenne, John Dardenne, Sam Dardenne, Jimmy Schultz, Dusty Schultz, Gerald Durham, and Jack Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials take the form of contributions to Flat Bayou Cemetery, 3808 North Gilliand Road, Altheimer, Arkansas 72004.
