Wesley United Methodist Church, 3010 Hazel St., will host the second session of the free healthy lifestyle cooking classes.
The community is invited to attend a meeting at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16.
The free “Faithful Families Eating Smart and Moving More” classes will help people plan, shop and prepare healthier meals for their families. Participants will also obtain new recipes and learn simple ways to stay fit (physically and spiritually), according to a news release from the Rev. Edna Morgan.
Wesley UMC is offering the classes in partnership with the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture research and extension service and the Arkansas Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education (SNAP-Ed.)
