The Youth Advisory Council of the Pine Bluff Area Community Foundation will meet from 4-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16.

The group will meet at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave.

Students will elect officers and committee chairmen. They will also design a fund development plan to award grants to community organizations that benefit youth, according to a news release.

Youth in 8–12th grades from Jefferson County schools who want to make a positive difference in the community are encouraged to attend. Parents are always welcome.
