The Arkansas Foodbank will continue sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Afterschool Feeding Program in 12 sites, including Southeast Arkansas.


The foodbank will sponsor Kids Café afterschool feeding sites for the 2017-2018 school year throughout their 33-county service area in Central and Southern Arkansas. The Kids Café program provides free snacks and meals to low-income children.


According to the news release, the Kids Café afterschool feeding sites in Southeast Arkansas include:


• New St. Hurricane Baptist Church, 3319 S. Ohio St., Pine Bluff; Snack: Tuesdays at 5 p.m. during the school year.


• Boys & Girls Club of Drew County, 175 Henley Drive, Monticello; Snack: Monday through Friday at 3:30 p.m. during the school year.


• Boys & Girls Club of McGehee, 205 N. Washington, McGehee; Snack: Monday through Friday at 3:15 p.m. during the school year.
