Tech Sgt. Benjamin Farrell, a 2004 graduate of White Hall High School, recently re-enlisted in the United States Air Force. He has been in the service for 12 years, according to a news release.


He is the son of Elaine and Tommy Elmore and the late Billy Farrell Jr. Farrell, his wife Jenee, and two daughters, Peyton and Jacqueline, are stationed at Barksdale Air Force base at Shreveport, Louisiana.


“It’s not every day that you get sworn in by one of the most powerful men in the United States Air Force,” he said in the release. “I was honored to once again volunteer to remain in the Air Force for another five years. An amazing leader, Gen. Robin Rand, graciously swore me in.”
