The Rev. Derick Easter, pastor of New St. Hurricane Baptist Church, 3319 S. Ohio St., will present two new Christian Life School studies for children, teens and adults.

The community Bible studies are free and open to the general public each Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for nine weeks. Sessions began April 3.

Sessions for adults will focus on the topic “Advancing Through Adversity: A Study of the Book of Job.” This study is designed to be “a help for anyone going through adversity or supporting someone who is,” according to a news release.

The session for children and teens is entitled “Make It A Habit.”
