Simmons Bank has named Daniel Robinson the new community president at Pine Bluff.

A Pine Bluff native, Robinson previously served as the community president of northeast Arkansas at Jonesboro, according to a news release.

“We are delighted to welcome Daniel back to Pine Bluff,” Simmons Bank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Marty Casteel said. “His experience and personal investment in this community will be a wonderful complement to his attentive client work. We are confident that Daniel will continue providing the best possible service for Simmons Bank customers in the area.”

Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration at the University of Arkansas. He also completed various lending and banking courses and conferences and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.

At Jonesboro, he served in many diverse roles for organizations including the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce and Jonesboro Economic Development Corp.

He recently served on the ABA Emerging Leaders Council and as a board member for the United Way of Northeast Arkansas.

“He is looking forward to plugging back into the Pine Bluff community,” according to the release.
