The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St., will conduct auditions for the summer musical production of Sister Act.

The center will host auditions from 6:30–8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, May 14-15. Call backs will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19.

Aspiring actors are invited to audition. Participants should prepare 32 bars of music (about 1-2 minutes) that showcases their vocal ability, according to a news release.

Singers may use a track (CD, AUX, or Bluetooth) or sheet music (accompanist will be available).

Those who are called back will be asked to learn a short dance routine and should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Also, be prepared to read and sing selections from the show.

Song and scene selections will be available upon request. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to audition. These will be closed auditions, so no one will hear the audition but the director, music director and choreographer.

“You must be able to attend all rehearsals and the performance dates,” according to the release.

The performance dates are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, through Saturday, July 28, and 2 p.m. Sunday, July 29.
