Garden Pointe Assisted Living at Pine Bluff celebrated Father’s Day with a luncheon June 15 at Chili’s.

“The staff treated all the men out to a day filled with excitement,” according to a news release. “The men were met at the restaurant by their family member or members. The men played a game designed by Activities Director Latoya Markham while waiting on their food.”

“Some of the food that was ordered was ribs, chicken pasta, hamburgers, and salad.”

A cake by Yulunda Riley shaped in a dress shirt and necktie was served to the men for dessert.

The residents enjoyed the Chili’s crew while they sang Happy Birthday to the men who had birthdays in June.

“This was a change for the residents and it is being talked about daily,” a spokesman said. “Special thanks to staff members Kalisha Patterson, Talesha Calloway, Tina Martin and Latoya Markham for making this grand.”
