The Kiwanis Club of Pine Bluff meets at noon Wednesdays at the Pine Bluff Country Club. Programs include:

June 27 — Mildred J. Franco, executive director of Go Forward Pine Bluff’s initiative known as “The Innovation Hub” and “The Generator.” This initiative is part of GFPB’s Economic Development Pillar to create an Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub in Pine Bluff and make the city and the region an economic engine for Southeast Arkansas, according to a news release. July 4 — No meeting in observance of the July 4th holiday.

July 11, 18 — Programs to be announced.

July 25 — Charles Woods Jr., principal of Friendship Aspire Charter School at Pine Bluff. Woods has teaching and administration experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in physical education, a Master of Arts degree in curriculum and instruction and a Master of Arts degree in educational leadership and supervision, according to the release.
