A free seminar on Starting a Business in Arkansas will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at the community life center of New Saint Hurricane Baptist Church, 3319 S. Ohio St.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Monticello will host the workshop.
Topics include business financing, a business plan, business start-up/preplanning and managing a business, according to the release.
“This basic seminar discusses essential startup steps, legal business structures, regulations and licensing, key issues that affect your business success, and common pitfalls entrepreneurs face,” according to a news release.
This event is co-sponsored by Simmons Bank and Go Forward Pine Bluff. The registration deadline is 8 a.m. July 24.
