Debra Burchfield, executive director of the Hope Women’s Resource Center, received a $500 donation from the Pine Bluff Faith Community Coalition Ministerial Alliance on June 28.

The gift was presented at the ministerial alliance meeting held at Liberty Utilities Inc.

“We are thankful for the support of the Pine Bluff faith community and our growing partnership with churches from all over the city,” Burchfield said in a news release.

The ministerial alliance consists of the Christian communities of Pine Bluff whose purpose is to improve the lives of its residents, according to the Rev. Jesse C. Turner, president of the ministerial alliance, who made the presentation.

Hope Women’s Resource Center is a faith-based ministry offering free pregnancy tests, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, and parenting and prenatal education courses, according to a news release. Details:
