The Hunter's Elite 18U baseball team out of Pine Bluff won two games on Saturday and Sunday to capture the Senior Babe Ruth state title.
In the first game, Zack Motsinger pitched six innings allowing only one hit while striking out 13 batters to win on the mound for Hunter's Elite.
Offensively, Motsinger also went 2 for 3 at the plate to contribute, along with a monster three-run homer. Rod Stinson Jr., JaKobi Jackson and Woody Raines all had a double in the game to help them advance to the finals.
Hunter's Elite won the championship game 12-9 behind five strikeouts from Tyler Greer, four strikeouts from Jackson and three strikeouts from Gabe Starks defensively.
Jackson led with three hits in the game followed by Braelin Hence, Blake Hence, Stinson and Jalyn Williams, who all added two hits each.
Chris Mack Jr. sacrificed a bunt to move over the runner, and Kevin Compton drove in the run with a long ball to hit the top of the fence.
Hunter's Elite will now travel to Fayetteville to play in the Sr. Babe Ruth regionals on July 12-15.
