Joshua Jimenez Hunt of Pine Bluff, will attend the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF), Engineering & Technology program at Georgia Institute of Technology. The program is scheduled July 8-15 at Atlanta, Ga.

Hunt will join other outstanding high school students from across the nation to take part in the unique academic and career oriented development experience, according to a news release.

The son of Teki Hunt Winston, Hunt is a junior honor student at Pine Bluff High School, a member of the National Honor Society and on the Destination Imagination (DI) team.

“He is a scholar athlete that participates in basketball and is the goalie for the Zebra’s soccer team. Joshua plans to pursue a career as an architectural engineer and this program provides a gateway to his future,” according to the release.

The forum is a part of Envision programs that enable students to explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom, according to the release.

“National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF); Engineering & Technology is a great opportunity for high-achieving scholars to get outside the classroom and see, through hands-on interactive learning, how to innovate and think creatively,” Andrew Potter, the chief academic officer for Envision, said in a news release.
