The Hope Women’s Resource Center will sponsor its annual Golf Fore Life Tournament beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Pine Bluff Country Club. Lunch will be held at noon.

Registration is $100 per person or $400 per 4-man team. Golfers from Pine Bluff and Southeast Arkansas will be participating and all proceeds benefit the women’s resource center, according to a news release.

“Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place teams. There are also course games, the longest drive contest and a chance to win a $20,000 prize for a hole in one, half going to the golfer and half presented to the Hope Women’s Resource Center,” according to the release.

The center is a faith-based ministry offering free pregnancy tests, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, and parenting and prenatal education courses. In addition to the location on South Hazel Street, the center’s mobile unit serves DeWitt, Dumas, Star City and Stuttgart, according to the release.

If it rains Aug. 4, the tournament will be held Friday, Aug. 11. Team registration is open. Details: Hope Women’s Resource Center, 870-535-0811, or
