Indigo Blue Coffeehouse, 212 W. Barraque St., will feature works by local artist Byron Gregory in its Summer Artist Series from 3-6 p.m. Friday, July 27.


This third art show is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.


Gregory, a retired instructor from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, paints in acrylic. His paintings are of seascapes, landscapes and abstracts, which will be the focus of his art show, according to a news release.


The artist also writes children’s books and his professional background is in music – instrumental and composition, according to a news release.


“The coffeehouse is proud to host this event and looking forward to hosting other artists with ties to UAPB and the Pine Bluff area,” according to the release.
