The Pine Bluff Construction & Trade Alliance will host a quarterly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Business Support Incubator, 615 S. Main St.
Guests will include Edward Haddock, district director of the Arkansas District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
According to a news release, Haddock will discuss what’s involved in increasing small business participation at the Pine Bluff Arsenal.
Gareth C. Hyndman II, chief contracting-Army Contracting Command at Rock Island, Ill., will answer general questions about U.S. government contracting, according to the release.
The community is invited to attend the event.
Participants will also learn about projects associated with Go Forward Pine Bluff and the new Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library, according to the release.
Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be available.
