Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity Inc. will accept applications for the 2018 Home Ownership Opportunity from 3-6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 25,
The orientation and application session will be held at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave. All applications must be returned by noon Aug. 25. These are the only dates applications will be distributed and accepted, according to a news release.
Interested applicants should bring identification, including Social Security card, picture ID, proof of monthly income and current debt.
“Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity Inc. is a non-profit Christian organization founded in 1990. The affiliate strives to build and sell decent, affordable housing to families in need and receives funding through the generosity and countless hours of volunteers, sponsors, in-kind donors, civic organizations, churches, business partners and numerous individuals,” according to the release.
