Lynette Hatley is the new store director of Super 1 Foods at 1605 E. Harding Ave. Brookshire Grocery Co. announced the promotion Aug. 23.

A 15-year employee with the company, Hatley is a native of Pine Bluff and a 2004 graduate of Pine Bluff High School. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, according to a news release.

She worked as a cashier and office cashier before her promotion in 2008 to assistant store manager. She has been as an assistant store manager at three stores in Pine Bluff, most recently at the site at 2800 S. Hazel St.

Hatley volunteers for the Pine Bluff and Dollarway school districts, and has served as a drum corps instructor for Oak Park Elementary School, according to the release.

For several years, Hatley has helped to provide lunch for UAPB’s annual “Lion Fever Day” recruitment event, which 3,500 high school students attended this year. She also supports company-sponsored events such as the annual Summer Cereal Drive and recently served lunch to first responders at an appreciation event, according to the release.
