Wanda Mae Wood Walker, 81, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

She was born August 2, 1937, in Armorel, Arkansas, to Cecil Penn and Lora Mae Manning Wood.

Wanda was raised and received her early education in Peach Orchard, Missouri, later graduating from Pine Bluff High School in 1956.

She married James D. Walker on August 12, 1956. They enjoyed 62 wonderful years together.

Wanda worked as a secretary for Central Moloney, Central Baptist Church, and the Juvenile Court of Jefferson County. Later, being self-employed, she worked as a secretary/bookkeeper for the family’s three businesses.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Cecil T. Wood, and an infant grandson.

Wanda is survived by her husband, James; a son, Greg Walker (Janet), two daughters, Debra Oldner (Chip), Gale Inzer (Wayne), all of Pine Bluff; one brother, Robert Wood (Wanda). Wanda was an amazing “Gran” to six grandchildren, Nicole Harrod (Trey), Adam Oldner (Jennifer), Mandy Cotten (Brandon), Carol Anne Rowland (Kyle), Maegan Waldrip (Nathan), Jamie Oldner; seven great-grandchildren, Dalton and Paxton Oldner, Adalynn and Abbie Anne Harrod, Townsend Cotten, Walker Rowland and Miles Waldrip.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 10 to 11:30 AM at Central Baptist Church.

Graveside funeral service by Ralph Robinson & Son will be Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 12:30 PM, at Clement Cemetery, with Reverend Jordan Ferris officiating.
