Critical Purpose, a group of students from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, held a fashion show recently at Davis Life Care Center West.

“The residents really enjoyed the red carpet affair,” Stacey Williams, a spokeswoman said in a news release. “We even had a few of our residents that took part in the event as well.”

The event included a competition. The first place winner was Sydney Griffith and second place winner was Jordan Sims. The judges were Coleman Enright, Jonathan Giddens, Aalexus Jones and Brianna Williams, according to the release.

Toree Flenon is the president of Critical Purpose, a group that volunteers throughout the city, according to the release.

Critical Purpose plans on doing a lot more community service projects at Davis soon, Flenon said.

“Thanks again for showing our residents at Davis West a lot of love,” Williams said.
