The Omegas of Pine Bluff will celebrate the founding of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17.

A banquet will be held at the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge, 2906 E. Harding Ave., according to Kent L. Moore, Achievement Week chairman.

Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased from any Tau Phi or Tau Sigma Chapter member. Part of the proceeds will be used in support of the Omegas Scholarship Endowment at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, according to a news release.

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity was founded on Nov. 17, 1911, at Howard University at Washington, D.C., according to the release.
