Unity Christian Fellowship Church, 2712 S. Bay St., at Pine Bluff, invites the community to “Start the New Year Off With Family Night - Bible Study.”


“Happy New Year! It is my sincere hope and desire that 2019 is filled with great health and prosperity for you and your family,” Anthony Armstrong, Unity’s senior pastor, said in a news release from Stuff in The Bluff.


He invites the community to join them at the Bible study or other services. classes:


Tuesdays — Family Night - Bible Study is held at 6 p.m. and Personal Financial Development Classes are at 7 p.m.


“Our current Family Night - Bible Study topic is ‘God’s Individual Development Plan.’ Many of us have a tendency to make resolutions during the new year. Will we keep them? Probably not. God has plans and promises for you that He will deliver on! Find out His individual development plan for your life in 2019 and beyond,” according to the release.


Unity’s Personal Financial Development Classes are offered free.


“Financial education and planning fosters financial stability for individuals, families and entire communities,” according to the release. “The more people know about credit and banking services, the more likely they are to increase savings, buy homes and improve their financial health and well being.


“The development of people, entrepreneurs and small business is still necessary for communities and cities. The church working together and reaching out to community is a better community overall,” according to the release.
