Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1801 S. Indiana St., invites the community its “Journey With The Messiah” Bible study on the Gospel of Matthew. This series will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesdays, according to a news release.

Jan. 16 — “Behaving Like Jesus” — Matthew 12:1-21;


Jan. 23 — “Drawing Close To The Messiah” — Matthew 12:22-37;


Jan. 30 — “Avoiding Self-Deceit” — Matthew 12:38-50;


Feb. 6 — “What Kind of Heart Do You Have?” — Matthew 13:1-23;


Feb. 13 — “Being A World Changer” — Matthew 13:24-58;


Feb. 20 — “When You Are Discouraged” — Matthew 14:1-21;


Feb. 27 — “Prevailing Over Problems” — Matthew 14:22-33.

Other worship opportunities include Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday worship at 10:45 a.m.
