A Pine Bluff woman arrested for shoplifting Saturday is facing felony drug allegations after suspected methamphetamine was found in her purse at the jail.
Vice and Narcotics Detective Jarrell Johnson reported that he had been contacted by a jail supervisor who found a black case in Taylor Huckaby’s purse during the booking process. The case contained a glass smoking pipe and a small plastic bag with a crystal-like substance that tested positive for methamphetamine.
The suspected drugs will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for analysis.
A $2,500 bond was set for Huckaby, 27, on probable cause of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
