The Villages of General Baptist Health Care Assisted Living Center recently hosted the “Who Am I” Black History program.

Community members depicted several well-known African Americans, according to a news release. The Rev. Larry Battles, pastor of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, portrayed Tupac. Donna Huskey portrayed Mahalia Jackson. Rene Henderson represented Maya Angelou while the Gospel Warriors were the Jackson 5.

“The residents enjoyed singing old church hymns and enjoyed guessing who each person was,” according to the release.

Dee Clay was the program coordinator.
