The 2019 Class of Leadership Pine Bluff held an education session Feb. 12, according to a newsletter from the Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Participants boarded a bus supplied by UAPB. After arriving there, class members spent the morning listening to presentations by several staff members and UAPB Chancellor Laurence Alexander and then touring campus buildings. Chris Robinson, director of UAPB Office of Recruitment, organized the tour.

The group later traveled to Southeast Arkansas College’s campus, where they ate lunch provided by The Wood Shed BBQ & Catering. Class members then heard from SEARK President Steven Bloomberg and toured several departments on campus. SEARK Vice President of Student Affairs Scott Kuttenkuler, along with Wanda Grimmett and Deb Pyland, led the SEARK tour, according to a news release.

Leadership Pine Bluff is a program of the Chamber.
