The Pine Bluff Art League will meet from 2-4 Sunday, March 3, at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Services Center, 211 W. Third Ave.

The program will be presented by Vickie Hendrix-Siebenmorgen, a native of Pine Bluff, and president of The Hendrix Group Inc., a global executive search firm at Little Rock.

Hendrix-Siebenmorgen attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She experienced her first love of painting while taking art lessons at the “Little Fire House,” the founding organization of the Pine Bluff Art League, according to a news release.

“She sketches and paints in acrylic, oils and watercolor. Vickie tells us she has gained much of her inspiration to paint from her artistic family of musicians and artists,” according to the release.

Hendrix-Siebenmorgen’s work has been collected by buyers across the U.S. and abroad. Her largest collection is a 33 piece selection of work owned and displayed for public viewing at MISO Corporate Office at West Little Rock, according to the release.

The Pine Bluff Art League will also host a workshop by Linda Lewis from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16. She will teach a workshop on painting a still-life.

There will be a $40 fee and participants may use any medium they prefer. A sign-up sheet will be provided.

Visitors are welcome to attend the meeting. Participants should use the Third Avenue entrance of the Reynolds center.
