Plans for the upcoming Spring Membership Brunch and Fashion Show will be finalized during the meeting of the Pine Bluff Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary.


The auxiliary will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the Salvation Army fellowship room at the Salvation Army headquarters, 501 E. 12th Ave., according to a news release.


The brunch and fashion show will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church at 3703 Ryburn Road, according to Warna Turner, membership chairwoman.


Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from auxiliary members, at the Salvation Army or at the door on the day of the event.


Auxiliary members should turn in money from sold tickets at the meeting, Turner said.


Visitors and prospective members are always welcome at auxiliary, meetings, according to a spokesman for the group.


Dues are $10 annually and can be paid at the meeting. Anyone interested in supporting the work of the Salvation Army is invited to attend, the spokesman said. Monthly meetings are held throughout the year, except for the summer months, on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army headquaters, 501 E. 12th Ave.
