A beef cattle production meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, March 15, at the 1890 S.J. Parker Extension Complex auditorium at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Sponsored by the UAPB Small Farm Program and the Farm Service Agency (FSA,) the meeting will end after lunch and is free, according to a news release.
Meeting topics will include herd health, Body Condition Score (BCS), preparing for calving, pasture management, grazing management and the economics of cow/calf production. An FSA representative will be available to answer questions about farm loan programs.
