The Pine Bluff Branch of the NAACP Youth Council will host a leadership summit from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 30.


The event will be held at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Business Support Incubator, 615 S. Main St., according to a news release.


The event is free and youth between the ages of 12 and 18 are welcome to attend. Judge Waymond Brown will be the motivational speaker during lunch.


Workshop presenters and topics will include:


Lula Dickson — Parliamentary procedure;


Sheriff Lafayette Woods — How to respond when stopped by the police;


LaTonya Richardson — Public speaking 101;


Kymara Seals — The NAACP, a Social Justice Machine.


Lunch will be provided, however youth must register in advance by texting their name and age to 501-940-3467.
