The Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce will host the 2019 Business Expo Community Spotlight honoring 18 local charitable organizations.

The agencies will be recognized during Business Expo Thursday, May 2, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. The event begins with the Business Expo Breakfast from 7:30-9 a.m. in the center’s banquet hall. The business expo trade show opens at the convention center from 9-10 a.m. for VIP (exhibitors and invited guests) and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the general public.

“At Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce, community service is very important to us, which is why the Community Spotlight is always front and center at Business Expo,” according to the Chamber newsletter.

Southeast Arkansas College is sponsoring the 2019 Community Spotlight which will feature these agencies:

Ambassadors for Christ Youth Ministries, Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas, Celebrate Recovery, Choices in Living Resource Center, Hope of the Delta, Jefferson County 4-H, Jefferson County Drug Court, Jefferson County Extension - Urban Stormwater, Jenkins Housing, Kiwanis Club of Pine Bluff, Neighbor to Neighbor, Optimist Club of Pine Bluff, Paws in Prison, Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), Rotary Club of West Pine Bluff, United Way of Southeast Arkansas, Voices for Children and YouthPartners & The Imagination Library.

“Visit all of these non-profits to see what services they offer, and how you can volunteer to make a difference in our community,” according to the newsletter.

The keynote speaker for the Expo Breakfast will be Walt Coleman, an NFL referee for 30 years and an executive with Highland Dairy at Little Rock. Breakfast tickets are $15 each or $200 for a table of eight, which includes sponsorship listing. Simmons Bank is the expo breakfast sponsor. Admission is $5 to the expo trade show.

The exhibitor booth rate is $250 for Chamber members and $360 for non-members. Booth packets are ready for pick up at the Chamber.
