The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Economic Opportunities Commission will end the regular assistance program of LIHEAP (low-income home energy assistance program) Tuesday, April 30.

The crisis portion will continue until Friday, May 24, or until funds are depleted. EOC administers LIHEAP in include Jefferson, Grant, Cleveland, Arkansas and Lincoln counties, according to a news release.

EOC is a private, non-profit organization which operates social programs and services targeting low income households. The agency works in conjunction with other organizations to provide assistance.
