Girl Scouts will donate cookies to the community food bank at Neighbor to Neighbor, 1419 S. Pine St., at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1.

Presenters will include Dawn Prasifka, Girl Scouts – Diamonds president and chief executive officer, and local Girl Scout Troops 1011 and Troop 1264, according to a news release.

They will donate 2,000 boxes of cookies to Neighbor to Neighbor in Pine Bluff as a thank you to the community and its support of Girl Scouts who participated in the Girl Scout Cookie Program this year.

“Girl Scouts — Diamonds of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas is dedicated to giving back,” according to the release.

Between April 29 and May 3, Prasifka and Girl Scout troops will donate more than 15,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to student veterans on college campuses and other charitable organizations across the state as part of the council’s annual Girl Scouts Give Back Week.
