ACCESS Inc., a teen pregnancy prevention agency at Pine Bluff, is hosting a rock-a-thon fundraiser May 1-31. ACCESS, which was established in 1978, is seeking participants for its fundraiser.
The agency is asking any person or organization to challenge others at their organizations to rock 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or an hour. Participants will seek pledges of any amount, per every minute that they rock, according to a news release.
Participants are urged to call ACCESS and schedule a time to rock and a rocking chair will be delivered to their business or organization. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to ACCESS for its prevention program, according to a news release.
Also, the agency announces a downtown block party will be held Saturday, May 11.
