Southeast Arkansas Preparatory High School, 1501 W. 73rd Ave., is inviting women from the community to interact and engage with students and share their knowledge.


The event will begin at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, May 9. From 8-8:30 a.m., participants will assemble in the gym and community leaders will share their experiences and expertise, according to a news release.


“Each young lady that attends our school will be dressed in career wear. The women community leaders will greet each female student, providing them with a handshake or hug encouraging them to finish the school year strong,” according to Christopher L. Mack Sr., dean of students/assistant principal.


The school will have other activities throughout the day to encourage and motivate student.


“Our goal is to involve the community, inspiring our young ladies to be productive citizens and dress for success,” Mack said.
