The Housing Authority of the City of Pine Bluff will host the annual Health & Job Resource Fair as part of the Strong Families Initiative. The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
The public is invited to attend. Participants are encouraged to bring their resumes and dress to impress, according to a news release.
Participating employers include: Arkansas Department of Correction, Express Employment, Goodwill, Tyson, Family Dollars, Randstad, LENNOX, KOHLER, Air Force Recruiting of Pine Bluff, Army Recruiting of Pine Bluff, Arkansas Department of Health, Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas, Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority, Jefferson Comprehensive Care System Inc. and Arkansas Department of Workforce.
Resources will be provided by the following: Southeast Arkansas Recruitment, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff 1890 Extension Program, Southeast Arkansas Behavioral Healthcare System Inc. and others.
“This will provide an opportunity for families to connect with resources within the community that will allow them to become employed,” according to a spokesman.
